Bengal Safari, Siliguri, has established to showcase the faunal diversity of the North Bengal flood plains to the local people and visitors to the region. The Safari Park has been planned keeping in view the standard and norms formulated by the Central Zoo Authority for its development and maintenance. The Park have good collection of Medicinal Plants. A visitor can enjoy a day out with family and opt for the Elephant Rides, Mixed Herbivore Safari, Tiger Safari, Asiatic Black Bear Safari, Leopard Safari, Aviary trail, Lesser Cats trail, Crocodile, Gharial etc. There is a children’s play area and food court as well. Many more attractions and inclusions are under process for the next coming days.
