Responsibilities:
• Review patient prescriptions and accurately dispense medications to both inpatient and outpatient pharmacies at Pharmeasy.
• Check the expiry dates of medications before dispensing and ensure that no expired medications are given to patients.
• Conduct regular stocktaking of near-expiry medications and arrange for their return to the vendor to minimize wastage.
• Maintain detailed records of drug purchases and sales, ensuring accuracy and compliance with pharmacy regulations.
• Actively sell over-the-counter (OTC) drugs and work to increase OTC sales at Pharmeasy.
• Manage the inventory of the store, including stock checking, inventory replenishment, and ensuring that all items are well-organized.
• Maintain records of the cash register and handle transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Address patient queries related to medications, providing clear and accurate information to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory laws governing pharmacy operations at Pharmeasy.
• Build strong customer relationships to enhance store sales and foster customer loyalty.
• Ensure zero medication errors while dispensing, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and patient safety.
Requirements:
• Relevant educational qualification in Pharmacy or related fields.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential for maintaining accurate records and reports.
• Ability to work well in a team and build strong networking relationships with colleagues and customers at Pharmeasy.
• Process-oriented with a strong focus on action and results.
• Knowledge of SAP software is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage inventory and avoid errors.
• Excellent communication skills for handling patient queries and providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to comply with all pharmacy regulatory laws and ensure that the pharmacy operates within legal guidelines at Pharmeasy.
